can gd frenz remain as pure gd frenz 4 eva?

oh yar.. suddenly feel like penning this tot down.. is it true that 2 pple of opp sex who r very close frenz will always end up together? pple sae a couple wld usually start out as very good frenz.. i have always believed in dat.. but i have seen quite a few who wanna remain as frenz in fear of destroying the friendship between them..friendship can last 4eva but it does not always apply to a relationship.. it is true dat if they get together and break up one dae.. they will neva be able to be like before.. be as close as before..from a stage whereby both can tok abt anything under the sun to a sad ending when both do not even acknowledge each other when they see each other.. but then does this mean that 2 v close frenz cant be together? i am jus puzzled .. then how do ppl get together?
